IGEBA
FOGGING MACHINE TF-35

Fields of application
Crop
protection in closed rooms (greenhouses: e.g. vegetables, ornamental
plants, etc.) and outdoors
(e.g. cocoa plantations)
Stocks
are also attacked and sometimes completely destroyed (foodstuffs, tobacco,
cotton, etc.)
Other pest transmit diseases, which is why fogging is
carried out for vector control
to stop the spread of epidemics (e.g. to combat DHF or malaria mosquitos)
to
disinfect stables in animal husbandry
The devices can also be used
to inhibit
potato germination
to
produce special effects for the film industry, dense fog, etc.!

The
use of environmentally-compatible technologies in the field of crop
protection and parasite control is becoming increasingly important in view
of current ecological problems. IGEBA's years of practical
experience open
up a whole new dimension in this field. IGEBA technology helps to
prevent environmental damages with minimum application quantities per
surface area. IGEBA thermal fog generators can be used both indoors and
outdoors to produce a dense insecticidal fog. This takes immediate action
with the right active ingredient and destroys both flying and crawling
insects. In suitable weather conditions outdoors the fog effectively
passes through an affected area with a minimum of environmental
contamination. This enables an immediate control over fly + insect
nuisances. Indoors, the IGEBA TF 95 HD, for example, can be used to treat
large warehouses or similar large halls where fast and economic action has
to be taken. Our new TF 35 is the logical improvement to the TF 30, over
20,000 of which have already been sold, and at the same time our smallest
thermal fog generator. The successor thus sets even higher quality
standards. This is symptomatic for our complete range of products. Only
the best materials are used. The tank and rigid lines are made of
stainless steel, guaranteeing long operational reliability. Teflon and
Viton round off the high-quality appearance. We still manufacture by hand
so that every stage of production is checked in the subsequent stage. None
of our devices leaves our works without a final inspection.
Our thermal fog generators can practically be supplied according
to your requirement. So-called "W-designs" have been specially
designed to fog pesticides diluted in water, e.g. fungicides. You can
order a device with either a 5 l or a 60 l tank (and special units can be
connected to any size solution tanks). The output varies between 8 and 160
l/h. A remote control can be ordered for the larger devices, making such
appliances ideal for mounting on flatbed trucks for operation from the
cab. We can also offer an automatic cut-off device and a finger-tip
control.
Mode of operation
The Fog Generator operates on the principle of the one-sided open
jet-tube (Schmidt-Argus-Tube) with a valve at the inlet side (carburetor)
and an open outlet (fog outlet). This system - operating without any
moving parts - with carburetor, mixer tube, combustion chamber and
resonator constitutes an acoustical oscillation system at a certain
frequency. This Fog Generator
works at an operating frequency of about 100 cycles/second.
Liquids (chemical formulations, oil, etc.) can be fed into the
pulsating gas stream of the resonator at the outlet end. The high
frequency of the gas allows the application and break up of solutions,
otherwise susceptible to combustion or decomposition,
due to the very short time they are exposed to the hot gas stream.
